Burton >Food & Dining > Paliani's Pizza Takeout
Horrible experience, happy birthday to me.
We went out to Paliani's because it has been about a year since our last visit and their food was good and always has been. This time our experience was shocking. We waited about 20 minutes to get a menu. The waitress told us sorry but they were really busy. There were 4 other tables seated while we were there. We ordered after 40 minutes. The food came after an hour and 15 minutes. It was horrible. It is obvious nothing is fresh and everything was frozen. The lazagna's were edible but my wifes lazagna did not have any sauce. When we asked the waitress about this she told us they ran out. My son ordered beef tortellini. He got cheese tortellini which was fine because he was starving and he started to eat it. He got sick from it and missed school. The chef did not believe that we were served cheese tortellini so he wanted to see it, believe me, he can have it. My mothers chicken marsella was so bad it was sad. The taste was beyond words and it looked horrible. My dish was another special, spaghetti something with ham, bacon etc. It was the first dish in my life I could not eat and sent back. There was no sauce in the pasta, no ham, and no bacon. I still do not understand what it was supposed to be. The pepperoni calzone was good but i was afraid to eat it after everything else
This restaurant has always seemed dirty and not very good service but it always had the food to fall back on. not anymore. The new owner has failed to keep the old food quality. I give it 6 months to close its doors
Need a Babysitter...this Resturant is the place to go!.
All can say is, THIS PLACE IS DIRTY! Rude servers and an owner who wants to open up a day care center. Bread Sticks were doughy....ok if you like it that way. Their Pie's not so good. I mean do we check the oven to make sure the Pies aren't burnt. I don't think the new owners care, because when I see dust on the walls and ceiling and a baby crawling/walking around that tells me she/he doesn't care.
Where did the orginal owners run off too? MEN DON"T LIKE EATING WHERE KIDS PLAY WHEN WE ARE ON A DATE! Don't forget Rude servers and Rude Management.
My choice in Burton!. read the review that said too costly for pizza, so i decided to compare. A large pizza for $9.00? Not costly at all compared to other places. And the pizza's are bigger and I'm guessing cooked in a real oven, not teh converyor belt style. Try them out ...good stuff.
Too Costly for pizza. Staff are very friendly.
