Agree: Best Beyond Birmingham. After growing up at Antonino's on Townsend, finding an acceptable salon in Genesee County was an ominous task. Vanessa came highly recommended and with good reason: she's outstanding. So much so that she only has to work one day a month and she's booked til 2020. So I saw some different stylists--and every single one is beyond reproach. I consistently depend on Lindsey now--content to know that any time I see her for my usual (cut, highlights, lowlights and toner with blow-dry) that her work will be perfect ( a word I rarely use ). BTW, crosstalk between stylists has waned. Lindsey has always been on time, focused on her work, and with comprehensive attention to client needs. Can't wait to see her this afternoon!! XO

The best salon north of Birmingham. I have to say that I am quite surprised at the two poor rewiews here! I have been a Don Franco client for four years now and have always had excellent service and the staff has always been friendly and professional! The atmosphere is relaxed and this is what I want when I go to a salon, it keeps me comfortable....NOT UNCOMFORTABLE AROUND A BUNCH OF UNINTERESTING SNOBS!!!! While I will not name my stylist, she is by far the best in Michigan that I have been to; comparable to one in NYC and in Vegas that I have been to. I will agree that I have had to wait up to 15 mins for my appointment but things happen; who hasn't set in a doctor's or dentist's office for an hour for a SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT? Bottom line I have sent sooo many friends to this salon and every one of them are sooo happy and surprised this type of salon exsists in our area! FYI: Many of my friends thought their pricing would be HIGH but they were surprised to find out it was the same as what they were paying at lesser salons!!

KIM PLOOF IS GREAT, FRIENDLY & KNOWS WHAT'S SHES DOIN. I WENT TO DON FRANCO FOR THE FIRST TIME AFTER GOING TO HAIR STYLIST ONE AFTER ANOTHER FOR A GOOD CUT AND COLOR PAYING UP TO $120 AND NEVER BEING SATISFIED UNTILL I WAS REFERED TO KIM PLOOF AT DON FRANCO SHE IS ABSOLUTLY WONDERFUL I SAT DOWN TOLD HER "DO WHAT EVER "( CAN'T BE WORST THAN WHAT I'VE HAD IN THE PAST) SHE SAID RED AN 4 INCHES OFF I SAID OK I LOOK GREAT THE COLOR IS AWESOME AND WILL DEFINENTLY BE BACK THE PRICES WERE RESONABLE UNDER $100 .ON THE DOWN SIDE THE SALON WAS LOUD MAYBE THAT WAS BECAUSE IT WAS VERY BUSY. I F YOU GO TO DON FRANCO SEE KIM PLOOF YOU WON'T BE SORRY

AWFUL customer experience. I go to this salon occassionally when I am in desperate need of a fix and can't get in anywhere else. I always tell myself it will be the last time. They never keep accurate appointments - waiting at least 1/2 hour is normal. There is too much fooling around by the workers! They are too busy talking amongst themselves rather than doing hair. The salon is nice - but they are definately lacking customer service skills. They need to focus on the customers - not what they did last night after hours!

Waiting game. I personally think he's very sad that this salon has to be so pretty and high priced that they hire unprofessional people... not to say everyone that works there is but you should not wait for than 5 mins for an appt not 1/2 hour like the other girl or an HOUR like me... they need to do something about that or they will lose people... it's not social time for the workers it's a beauty salon to make WHO they are working on beautiful and the time about them.
