Flint >Bars & Clubs > Maxie's Food & Spirits
Why do I even bother. Service was terrible. You'd thought the bar was packed. Reconciled by server when we came in. But five minutes later while sitting at the bar still waiting to take our drink orders. Called ahead to make sure they were having Karaoke. guess what an hour later and they still hadn't started it. Granted it was a slow night. But they have desire to do anything they claim. What a waste of time and gas. Pretty clear the owner just don't care about the way his bar is run.
Maxie's new management.. Had a group gathering of 23 people January 15th 2011. The new regular and special events menus were outstanding. The crusted salmon was the best I ever had, and others were raving about the prime rib. Portions were HUGE. Waitress and staff were very attentive to our every need. Thanks to the Manager Mike and his staff for making our meeting a memorable experience.
Great Little "Dive" Bar. "Dive" style bar with one side Karaoke 7 nights a week. Nothing fancy but always popular. Wednesday and Thursday are packed late, usually with lots of guys and ladies both. Everyone is always friendly and the drink prices are reasonable. I always stop in whenever I am in Flint for business.
