I don't like mexican food so much but this is pretty good. The kids like going here so thats important. The fajitas are what I get when I'm there.

home sweet home. I visited Don Pablos Flint location on Wednesday May 25 2011 around 12:30 - 1:00pm. I usually stop in once a month for the amazing fajitas but never have I felt as welcome and wanted as i did on this particular visit. Laura was my server and not only was my service great but her personality made me want to stay longer. But the person who really made me feel welcomed and like I was at a place that really wanted me was the hostess working that particular morning/afternoon. Mel was so warm and welcoming. Full of smiles and carried a conversation with me all the way to where I was seated. Ive never walked into a restaurant where the hostess actually cared how my day was and this young lady (Mel) made me want to come back and enjoy your restaurant more often. Thank you Don Pablos and Thank You Mel for making my day!

You won me over.

Margaritas and affordable Mexican fare in a campy, family-friendly atmosphere.. In Short
Bright colors and big booths make this quick-service, sit-down Mexican restaurant a cheery choice for group outings. The traditional menu--including classic enchiladas, soft and crispy tacos, mesquite-grilled shrimp, sizzling fajita platters and made-from-scratch salsas--features lunch specials, create-your-own combinations and to-go options for more fast-paced patrons. Tequila makes its appearance in house margaritas and cocktails. Bringing the little ones? They're catered to with a kid-friendly, Tex-Mex menu.

Really Poor Service. It is near my house so I ate there quite a bit last summer out of convenince until I finally reached my limit of waiting around to be seated in the lobby of an almost empty restaurant as waiter after waiter passed us by and ignored us rather than finding the hostess to seat us! This happened so many times....and sometimes we waited ages to get our food which would arrive cold. The food is not authentic Mexican at all, generic run-of-the-mill stuff so what took so long? The beans came out of a can, the rice was made with a mix. There are better Mexican places, even in Flint.

Let Down. I was so excited to grab a few margaritas and some fresh mexican food. I was disappointed to receive such poor service. On top of that, we were served food that was hardly edible. My party of eight left looking back knowing that we would NEVER return to Don Pablo's again. I was really disappointed.

I guess if you like poor service, long waits, cold food, and high prices, hit up Don Pablo's ASAP!

The One and ONLY. I am from Texas, Don Pablo's is just like being home, the food is great-I love the feel of the outside patio restaurant-look forward to going again, again & again
