great reception, knowledgeable, great service. I recently got an eyebrow wax with Jacqueline. She was fabulous, it was only a small service, but she made me feel like I was her most important client. She consulted with me about the shape she thought would be best, and made sure I was in agreement before she waxed me. Her consultation was great and made me feel very secure, as any woman knows a bad eyebrow wax is like having a bad haircut on your face. She used great products that left me with very little red and irritation. I would reccomend her to anyone for any wax they were considering. Her prices were great, the service was phenomenal, and I left a very happy customer.

Wow. I love going to April at Ambiance. She always does such a good job. She is very fast but does a great job. She really listens and gives you the haircut and color you really want, and not just the style she feels like giving you. I love going there, and I can always get an appointment that works with my schedule. I would totally suggest this place.

terrible experience. Will never go back.. I went to the salon to finally treat myself and I ended up walking out feeling terrible. The appt was with the owner of the business and it started out okay. She did a nice job highlighting but she was very rough with my hair and never actually asked how I wanted it cut. We talked the whole time about how I had been trying to grow my hair out (which I had been working on for about a year).

She did a nice job discussing product and how to blowdry. Then she just did a trim to the bottom and I realized that she was done. I hesitated but thought, "no, you are paying lots of money to treat yourself, get what you want". So I asked her if she could trim up my layers, too. She said "actually the more layers you have, the thicker it looks". She had to do another client and then she said she would return to me.

Once I sat back down, we talked again about what I wanted done. I told her to trim the layers. She said she could take them up to my neckline. Then she said "Well, so much for growing your hair out! Talk about a major haircut!"as she trimmed away. My eyes widened and I asked her if she was just doing the layers!

She ended up cutting off at least 4-5 inches of my hair and I ended up having a "posh" cut. She gave me a free haircut for 4-6 weeks out. She still didn't do the layers I wanted and I ended up cutting them in at home. I paid $120.00 for the cut and colour and when I called back the next day to decline the free haircut and see if she would at least credit me $41.00 for the cut, she left me a very snotty voicemail saying that I insisted she cut my hair short and she wasn't going to give it to me. This is the owner!

She never seemed to understand what I wanted done and when she screwed up, she admited it but wouldn't do anything to make the customer happy. I'll never go back.
