Buyer Beware! Bad Tattoos.
Do not get work done at Evolution Tattoo, especially by Rod Armstrong. I went there for a cover-up and he butchered me. I had a small tribal eye covered up by an independent cross. His work was full of mistakes. It turned out blotchy, lines were ill-defined or blurry, a couple of lines were overshot, and black ink was pushed into color. Upon touch up things got worse. He actually made the cross cockeyed! Can you believe it? I think his tattoo book is a decoy, because I saw no quality whatsoever in the work he performed. It looks like a prison tattoo. He blamed the customer for being too picky and chalked it up to artistic interpretation. Now I get to pay a real tattoo artist to fix this monstrosity. I also found out from other employees that he is known to state that he is no artist, but he'll tattoo customers anyways. That's a piece of information I could have used up front. If you are looking for a quality tattoo at a reasonable price, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. You'll be happy you did.
